Suitability assessment of models in the industrial energy system design

This article reviews models in the scientific literature for industrial final-energy generation system design to evaluate their applicability practice. Since energy efficiency has top priority worldwide and industry accounts half of world's consumption, it would be important use state-of-the-art methodologies real life applications. The contribution presented this matter is threefold. First, facilitate understanding existing models', we developed a model evaluation method based on attributes systems. We applied reviewed models, providing reader an overview considered modelling approaches, process steps, types, technological, economic ecological aspects. Second, conclude results that current cases are not completely suitable wide practical implementation, among others because way they operation do incorporate every discussed requirement aspect. Third, draws up potential approach fill these gaps, considering missing points omissions.
